I grew up creating comic characters and drawing out their costumes and everything, so I was so excited when I found out about this new site.
So fun to make your own hero. You can do alot of customization from facial features to costume colors, and even your powers/guns. So fun! check it out >>here<<.
I must say that the best part of the site though is the background music. While sweating over the details of your hero self you will be rocking out to Bonnie Tyler‘s Holding Out For a Hero! Can I just admit to the world that I love that song. I need a hero!
Brandon has been out in the backcountry killing it this season.
He sent in a little communication about his adventures to NS.com and wanted us to let you know about it. Check it out here<<
Also Brandon is part of a new hat brand that we think you should check out. Rime knits. For every beanie sold they plant a tree. Good idea friends…do your part.
A while back I had the pleasure of meeting Nick on a trip to Seattle. Recently when I moved down to Los Angeles, we connected again at a friends potluck dinner. You can see his feature here on Communication Arts.
Please check out Nick’s work here as he is always on his grind and making moves and he also has a great blog about his travels around the world!!!
The Burton Am was hitting Snoqualmie Pass and Halo Wilson came to town and ripped it up. Things started out pretty sketchy as the snow was pretty slow. The course was still fun though and only a few riders ended up with gnarly ice burns or injuries.
Halo had a good day and ended up in 2nd place with some $ in her pocket. I really think she showed some courage after a hard fall on her first run in the finals. Congratulations Halo. Here are some pics from the event.
I have been wanting to do some more painting as of late so I got some canvas and got to it. I thought I would let you in on the start of what may become a triptych. We’ll see where it goes but here’s what it looks like after a few hours of sketching the first panel.
Cary Judd is coming out with a new album soon. You can pre-order “Goodnight Human” from his website now. Check it out at CARYJUDD.COM and check out the first Video from the new disc here!
